   1. About EasyViewStl Version 0.7.5.0
  ------------------------------------------------------------------------

   EasyViewSTL is an easy to use tool for viewing files in STL format,
   designed with performance in mind, and available completely free of
   charge.

   You can get the software with an english or german user interface.
   EasyViewStl is mobile, it can be used without installation. Only a small
   amount of space on a storage device is required. Just unpack the ZIP file
   to an appropriate folder.

   EasyViewStl is able to read and write STL files in ASCII and BINARY
   format, and to convert the 3D file formats IV, OBJ, OFF, PLY, and
   VRML97/WRL to BINARY STL format.

   Large STL files are processed, which may contain up to 10,000,000
   triangles. When opening a STL file, the data are analyzed automatically,
   and respective properties of the model are displayed.

   The program offers a wide range of view modes and settings to ensure
   the best possible viewing experience, like Standard Views und Per-
   spective Views, coloring, pixel widths, lighting and shading,
   wireframe and wireframe-overlay representation.

   It is also possible to move and rotate the model view in every
   direction at any time. The rotation centerpoint/-axis can be selected
   from the model. Zooming, Panning, Centering, and Rotating the model view
   can be done by simple mouse movements or keyboard shortcuts.
   
   Screenshot of the current view, BMP-File generation, scaled and full-page
   printing for any paper size of installed printers is supported. Different
   pixel dimesions for the view can be set.

   The automatic-adaptive 3D grid feature makes it possible to better
   understand the model dimensions and measurements. 

   EasyViewStl allows to alter the dimensions and location of the model
   in 3D space through different 3D coordinate transformations.

   Other features of EasyViewStl are the creation of sliding cross-sections,
   display of normal vectors, boundary segments, and statistical Infor-
   mation.

   Thus the program is able to point out the potential problems of the
   3D model.

   4. System Requirements, Installation, and Operating Instructions
  ------------------------------------------------------------------------

   For operation of the software, the following system requirements,
   recommendations and hints are valid.

   - A conventional PC with x64 architecture, at least 6 GB RAM,
     3 GHz CPU recommended.

   - Graphics adapter with at least 1 GB DDR RAM and device driver
     support for OpenGL® Version 2.0 and later.

   - A Monitor with at least 1024x768 pixels resolution, keyboard and mouse.

   - Microsoft Windows® 7 x64, or Windows® 8 x64, or Windows® 10 x64.
     Any Windows® 32-Bit system is unsuitable.

   - The performance of EasyViewStl heavily depends on the capability of
     the hardware used and on the number of triangles of the model.

   - The software does not need any installation. Just unpack the
     distribution file to an appropriate folder. About 6 MB of storage
     space are needed.

   - The file type STL will not be registered by EasyViewStl, because
     Microsoft Windows® uses this file type for another purpose.

   - To read the User Manual, software for viewing files in PDF format
     has to be installed.

   1. Über EasyViewStl Version 0.7.5.0
  ------------------------------------------------------------------------

   EasyViewStl ist ein flexibler, leicht zu bedienender Viewer zur Dar-
   stellung von 3D Geometrie, die als Triangulationsdatei im STL-Format
   vorliegt. Die Software ist "FREEWARE", also frei von jeglicher Gebühr.
   
   Bei der Entwicklung de Software wurde besonderes Augenmerk auf
   Performance gelegt. Sie ist mit einer deutschen und englischen
   Benutzeroberfläche erhältlich.
   
   EasyViewStl ist mobil, kann also ohne Installation benutzt werden,
   und benötigt nur wenig Speicherplatz. Es genügt die Distributionsdatei
   in einem geeigneten Verzeichnis zu entpacken.
   
   Es können STL-Dateien im ASCII und BINARY Format gelesen und ge-
   schrieben werden. Weiters ist es möglich die 3D Datenformate IV, OBJ,
   OFF, PLY und VRML97/WRL in das BINARY STL-Format zu konvertieren.
   
   Es können grosse STL Dateien mit bis zu 10.000.000 Dreiecken verar-
   beitet werden. Beim Einlesen einer STL Datei werden die Daten auto-
   matisch analysiert, und die Ergebnisse dieser Analyse angezeigt.
   
   Das Programm bietet eine breite Palette an Funktionen und Einstellungen
   zur Visualisierung von 3D Modellen, wie Standardansichten, Perspektive,
   Farbgebung, Pixelbreiten, Beleuchtung, Wireframe und Wireframe-Overlay
   Darstellung.
   
   Es ist jederzeit möglich mit simplen Bewegungen der Maus und/oder
   Tastenkombinationen die Ansicht des Modells in beliebige Richtungen
   zu verschieben, zu zoomen, zu zentrieren, oder zu rotieren. Das
   Rotationszentrum bzw. die Rotationsachse kann vom Modell übernommen
   werden.
   
   Screenshots der momentanen Ansicht, BMP-Dateigenerierung, verzerrungs-
   freier skalierter und ganzseitiger Druck für die Papiergrössen der
   installierten Drucker werden unterstützt, genauso wie einstellbare
   Pixel-Dimensionen des grafischen Bereichs.
   
   Ein automatisch-adaptives 3D Raster bietet ein besseres Verständnis der
   Dimensionen und Abmessungen des Modells.

   EasyViewStl erlaubt es die Dimensionen und die Platzierung des Modells
   im 3D Raum mit verschiedenen 3D Koordinaten-Transformationen zu
   verändern.
   
   Weitere Funktionen von EasyViewStl ermöglichen es gleitende planare
   Schnitte durch das Nodell zu legen, Normalvektoren oder Randlinien
   darzustellen, und statistische Informationen zur Datenqualität anzu-
   zeigen.
   
   Somit kann das Programm benutzt werden, um potentielle Probleme des
   STL Modells aufzuzeigen.

   Die Software EasyViewStl Version 0.7.5.0 ist "FREEWARE", d.h. die
   Benutzung ist gebührenfrei und zeitlich nicht beschränkt. Sie darf

   Dies gilt auch für den Fall, dass der Autor/Hersteller auf mögliche
   Schäden aufmerksam gemacht wird, die durch die Verwendung von
   EasyViewStl entstehen können.
   
   Der Anwender übernimmt das vollständige Risiko für die Benutzung.

   Es besteht keinerlei Anspruch auf Fehlerbehebung, Änderung oder Er-
   weiterung der Software.

   Mit dem Entpacken der Distributionsdatei und dem Start der Software
   EasyViewStl erklärt der Betreffende sein Einverständnis mit diesen
   Bedingungen.

   4. Systemvoraussetzungen, Installations- und Betriebshinweise
  ------------------------------------------------------------------------

   Für den Einsatz der Software gelten folgende minimalen Systeman-
   forderungen, Empfehlungen und Hinweise:

   - Einsatz auf einem handelsüblichen PC mit x64 Archtektur, 6 GB RAM,
     3 GHz CPU. Bildschirm mit Auflösung 1024x768, Tastatur und Maus.

   - Grafikkarte mit 1 GB DDR RAM und Treiberunterstützung für
     OpenGL® ab Version 2.0

   - Microsoft Windows® 7 x64, oder Windows® 8 x64, oder Windows® 10 x64.
     Auf einem Microsoft Windows® 32-Bit System ist die Software nicht
     lauffähig.

   - EasyViewStl Version 0.7.5.0 ist zur Darstellung von maximal
     10.000.000 Dreiecken geeignet. Die Leistungsfähigkeit der Software
     hängt dabei stark von der eingesetzten Hardware, insbesonders von der
     Grafikkarte, ab.

   - Ein (Farb-)Drucker, falls Ansichten ausgedruckt werden sollen.

   - Die Software benötigt keine Installation. Nach dem Entpacken der
     im ZIP-Format komprimierten "Distributionsdatei" in einem beliebigen
     Verzeichnis ist diese sofort einsetzbar.

   - Der von EasyViewStl benötigte Speicherplatz beträgt (samt Doku-
     mentation) ca. 6 MB auf der Festplatte.

   - Die Software ist "mobil", sie kann also auch auf externen Daten-
     trägern abgelegt werden.
	 
   - Der Dateityp STL wird von EasyViewStl nicht registriert, da
     Microsoft Windows® diesen Dateityp für andere Zwecke verwendet.

   - Zum Lesen des Benutzerhandbuchs muss eine Software installiert sein,
     welche das Anzeigen von Dokumenten im PDF-Format ermöglicht.

   - STL-Dateien zu Testzwecken sind frei im Internet verfügbar, besitzen
     jedoch stark unterschiedliche Qualität.

   - STL- Dateien können auch mit Hilfe der Konvertierungsfunktionen vom
     EasyViewStl aus den 3D Datenformaten IV, OBJ, OFF, PLY und WRL
     (VRML 97) erzeugt werden.

   Für weiterführende Informationen wird auf das beiliegende Benutzerhand-
   buch verwiesen.
